Last semester in March Mr. Robinson was put on leave by the school due to allegations of him having sexual relations with a student. Upon further investigation by the authorities at his home, Mr. Robinson was also charged with possession of child pornagraphy. Mr. Robinson was soon arrested by sheriff ‘s deputies.

“This is very concerning to all of us. Our staff cares deeply for each of our students.” said Principal Kelly in email to help reassure parents that this was an isolated incident.

Mr. Robinson was booked in the Sacramento County Main Jail but was soon released a day later with bond. So far in court he has pleaded not guilty. The case has not concluded and will have a follow-up hearing during this September. At this time we will not know if there will be a trial or negotiated settlement.

The faculty of the school were not the only ones shocked about the news. Many students of Mr. Robinson last semester were curious about his absence.

“There was no word on what was happening,” claimed one student. “I thought Mr. Robinson was a really good teacher. That’s why when I heard of the accusations against him was shocked and disappointed.”

“Mr. Robinson left in the middle of the day without any word except for a strange email left in google classroom.” The email said that he had to leave for the day and would probably be absent for an extended period of time. “The day after the email, rumors began to spread rapidly that he had done something bad.”

At the start of school there were only a handful of rumors, but by lunch time the entire school knew that something was happening with Mr. Robinson. There were stories about him being escorted out of school by the police. On top of that there were all kinds of theories about what he did and if he was guilty or innocent.

All that being said, what is currently known by the public about Mr. Robinson is that he is being tried in court for lewd acts with a minor and for the possession of child pornagraphy.
