Political violence should not be allowed everyone should be allowed an opinion without being publicly shamed for having a different view than someone that leads to an injury or death. No one deserves violence against them just because they have a different political view than you. Everyone has different views and their opinions matter and their life matters they have a family and people they care about. – Ashley Totter

Considering the growing polarization between political parties, I am very concerned about the political violence in America. The democracy that America is known for is slowly being lost to violence, as the number of attacks on political figures increase. I am concerned about this loss of control and democracy, since history has shown how political discourse can cause nations to fall. -Naya Winn

The ongoing occurrence with deaths in politcal authorities have been because of the citizens not respecting the freedom of speech, one of our own most imporant amendments, because, most of the deaths have been happening during speeches, during political events where the authorities state their opinions on things. This concerns us as citizens because if we don’t have freedom of speech, if we cant act as we want without being killed what is the point of being a country where freedom is the main point. – Vishal Sidhu
