Rio Americano students showed up for the annual pie competition on Thursday November 20th. The competition ran from first to sixth period and many students competed but, Charlotte Ferrari, a junior at Rio, took the win with her raspberry creme pie. When asked how she felt she said, “It feels amazing. I have never been prouder in my life.” She wants to thank her mom who got the recipe from Instagram. The second place winner, Alex Elkins, made a blueberry lemon creme pie.
